Module 3

The Gambling & Recovery Podcast Science Accelerator Course consists of 3, 1-hour continuing education (CE) modules designed to provide evidence-based and lived-experience insight into the experience of gambling-related problems. In each module, learners will listen to a recent After Gambling podcast episode hosted by Jamie Salsberg, with special guest Mark Checkwitz, followed by a discussion of related research. Learners can earn 1.0 hour of CE credit per module.

Continuing Education (CE) Credits:

• American Psychological Association (APA) – The Division on Addiction is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Division on Addiction maintains responsibility for this program and its content. This program offers 1.0 continuing education credits.
• National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) – The Division on Addiction has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6121. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. The Division on Addiction is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. This program offers 1.0 clock hours.
• National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) – The Division on Addiction is a NAADAC Approved Distance Learning Provider (provider number 84058).
